What is Aromatherapy?

Aromatherapy is more than just a treat for your nose!  Aromatherapy is the art and science of using natural oils extracted from flowers, bark, stems, leaves, roots or other parts of a plant to enhance psychological and physical wellbeing.  It can be preventative as well as curative.

Aromatherapy is a natural, non-invasive modality designed to affect the whole person, not just the symptom or disease.  Aromatherapy assists the body’s natural ability to balance, realign, heal and maintain itself by the correct use of essential oils.

The most effective method of application of essential oils is through a full body massage, performed by a certified practitioner.  Other methods of application include inhalations, bath blends, diffusions, compresses and more.

An aromatherapy massage from an experienced professional can assist with a wide range of ailments including: trouble sleeping, anxiety, hot flashes, headaches, weakened immune system,   digestive trouble, sore muscles, and much more.
